I can provide you with the choices to make your ceremony a beautiful and meaningful moment in time - on the beach, in your own yard or at any number of beautiful Cape Cod venues.

I am passionate about being a Justice of the Peace and known for my personalized one-on-one customer service aimed at making your day a lasting memory throughout the years.

I'm a member of the Massachusetts Justices of the Peace Association, Inc. and I've performed over 300 wedding ceremonies to date plus vow renewals, and I've had the privilege to perform celebration of life ceremonies as well as naming ceremonies for newborns.

A longtime Cape Cod community member and resident of Sandwich, Melinda is actively involved in both civic and arts activities beyond being a Justice of the Peace.

*Massachusetts Justices of the Peace Association, Inc. (MJPA), founded in 1975 as a non-profit, professional and educational Association which assists Justices of the Peace in fulfilling the duties and responsibilities of their commissioned office. 

The primary role of a Justice/Wedding Celebrant is to provide a civil ceremony, execute the proper paperwork, and submit it to the state.  MJPA encourages each member to demonstrate "honor and the highest ethics in public service". The organization also works to insure legislation pertinent to Justices of the Peace/Celebrants is fair and practical.
